singapore's national day was yesterday...
it's supposed to be the biggest celebration for the country...especially after the many troubles that haunted them...
well, it's kinda nice for me to see singaporeans show their sense of nationality once in a while...
and they really do show it...
by putting up flags, went to the ndp parade...although I'm not sure whether they go there for the parade or the goody bag...etc.
even in school oncert two days ago, my classmates really showed me that they still care for their own nation...at least those who attend the concert...
they were singing, dancing, girating away to the various national songs...
and they seemed to enjoy every single moment of it...
I wonder whether this kind of spirit still exists in indon...
where, I think, daily survival far outweight naionalism in the sense of importance...
as for me, I don't really care about it...naional day is just another day...except if it's a holiday of course
my sense of nationalism is almost zero...still got a bit of pride there though...
