Life is Waiting

Life is waiting. That's the phrase that you'll see if you're staring at the advertisement of 'The Terminal'.
Waiting for what ? for someone, for a perfect time, for the weekend, for the rain, for the sun, for payday, for that new movie, for everything, for anything...

It's a story of a man who, while he was traveling to New York, his country ceased to exist and he was stranded in the international transit lounge for 9 months. The movie was about his antiques and things he did and the friends he made during that 9 months. It starred Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones and directed by Steven Spielberg. It's actually quite a nice story, although fanny said she was kinda disapointed with the story line.hmm...

But the poignant thing about this movie, well at least for me, that he, his named is Victor Navorski, endured all this, all the sufferings and problems only because of one thing. He promised his father that he'll come to New York to find the autograph of a jazz saxophonist.that's it...
a simple promise like that can make him do so much...pretty amazing isn't it...
wish I could keep a promise like that...
and he don't mind waiting for nine months for it...
I could barely wait for two weeks for my laptop...and that's driving me crazy...
this guy waited for 9 months...

haha...this post sounded really serious...
but really...I really admire people who can keep their promises...and people who has the patience to wait.
It's not easy waiting...try going out with your mom or wife or girlfriend...you'll know what it's meant by waiting...hehe...

but I don't want to be like that Amelia character...waiting all that long...but still no call...no one coming...

so, I'll be here...waiting...keeping my promises...and still waiting...

ps: finally decided to add tittle after holding back for so long...it certainly help focus the blog...hehe...
