Out with the old, in with the new
So here we are, in this new year of 2007. Several things happened since my last post. Erick's sister and husband came here for a holiday and being the wonderful (and wacky) people that they are, I went out with them several times. From going around to figurines shops, going to kino (several times) and watching DeathNote 2, it was really really fun. My thanks to them. From one of their figurines excursion, I bought a funny Usop figurines. I was tempted to buy Fables no. 1 but decided against it. That is because a few days before, I went 2nd hand books shoping spree. I got Pride and Prejudice, Vanity Fair, Snow White, Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go and Charlotte's Web.
After they went back home on the 30th, I didn't go out that much anymore. Most of the time was spent playing FM2007 (finally won that stupid EPL and Champions League with Liverpool), downloading movies (lame movies as Erick would say), watching TV, reading, and finishing Fie's Last Request (after 6 months delay). I finally finished Stella Deus as well (the last boss was so lame). Ow, and we updated our Text Twist high score to 115,000+.
Registering for this sem modules wasn't that difficult since, at first, I only have 2 core modules and I filled up the rest with minor modules. A few days after that, I found out that I could take another elective module, so I changed one of my minor module to that. I got everything that I need thankfully. So this sem, I'll be taking CS3103 Computer Networks & Protocols, CS3211 Concurrent & Parallel Programming, CS4271 Critical Systems & Their Verifications, XD2101 Approaches to The Study of Religion, and SE3211 Religion, Society & Politics in SE Asia. Whew.
So I wish all you luck for the new year. Wish me luck too.
