Pick a spot...any spot...

sigh...another boring day...
can't go anywhere because of the rain...
I was just browsing through an online map of singapore to look for certain places...
I like maps...I don't know why...I just like them...
they give me a sense of adventure, of lostness, of discovery...
just look at a map...any map...it can be the map of you city o a city you never heard before...
it is better to have a map which is quite detailed...not just a general map, although it is also possible...
now, pick a spot...any spot...don't think...use your instinct and move your finger to a spot on the map...
after this, look at the spot you picked...look at the surrounding buildings...the streets...any shops or store...or houses...
see how far is it from your place if it is in your city...try to fiure out how to get there from your place...
imagine the nvironment there...what would it be like if you're there...
the cars on the street, the children running around, a busy store, a crowded bus station...imagine...
blend to the environment...
I don't know whether you find it exhilarating or not...but I enjoyed it...
ha..ha..don't laugh...it is a simple pleasure...
I enjoyed looking at maps so much I took one to the toilet with me once...ha..ha..
after all the imaginary part...here comes the real part...I actually go to that place that I picked...
I try to find time to enjoy this simple adventure to the unknown part...ha..ha..
when I reached that place, I would check whether my imagination fit the reality...I would go around...looking everywhere...
checking out the hawker centre, shopping centre, hotels, or anything there...or simply get lost...but I'll talk about this next time
it gives me this really good sensation of being independent, lonely in a foreign land...
ha..ha..I'm a sucker for lonely feeling...maybe that's why I'm always lonely...ha..ha..
anyway...it's a fun adventure...especially in this tiny singapore...ha..ha..
you should try it sometimes...
