You gotta watch 'Ed'

anyone watched 'Ed' ?
'Ed' is this sitcom about a guy who is a lawyer...he got kicked out from his firm in NY 'cos he missed one coma in one huge contract...
when he came home he found his wife shagging with the postman...
heartbroken and jobless, he moved back to his hometown, bought a bowling alley, moved in with his best friend, chasing after his high-school crush...
the story revolves around the cases ed handled or his relationship with his crush, named carol vessey btw...
carol said no to ed but they remain best friends...you see, ed is a nice guy...he doesn't push the girl he likes...
that was his worse mistake...
its like what the saying says..."nice guy finish last"...
so carol found another guy and ed, being the nice guy and supporting friend, can only support her...
until at the end of the second season, he said that he is going after her again...until now, there's no news about a third season...
but why am I talking about a sitcom...?
the part about nice guy finish last really hit me...
is that the truth ?

Ed:"Girls like mysterious guys. Not because they are mysterious or anything, but it is because they know how it's going to end. But with a nice guy. Now, you don't know how it's going to end."

They were in a dinner party. Ed and his best friend were looking at carol and her boyfriend...
Ed's best friend:"so what was you said just now ? Nice guys finish first ? No, nice guys finish second ? No, ow, nice guys finish last."

so if someone said, "you are a nice guy."...think twice before you smile...
