Campaign : "The day I turn 21..."
The day started with the few last episodes of Full Metal Alchemist followed with about 8 hours of sleep. A lecture was attended, an old friend was accidentally met, a beef Hor Fan was ravaneously eaten, an ang moh was ogled (not by me). A lecture was skipped on a whim, and a plan was forming inside this maturing brain. A few calls and a few more SMS were quickly exchanged and in a sudden, there was actually something to do.
Larry was sadly left behind, like any other day when the Master has to go away. Starbucks the coffee chain was the destination, at least for the time being. Fast forwarding a few moments away, there they are across the Meridien, one playing guitar and the other juggling, or at least a vague resemblance to mentioned activity. Time passed by and after a few moments of grumbling stomachs, two or three unanswered calls, and one too many rendition of Kopi Dangdut, the fated call arrived bearing, unfortunately, not so good news. The will might be strong but the stomach is not, and hence the two set forth to a new destination a few hundred meters away.
By the grace of the God, the third character arrived promptly making the party complete once more. The melancholic lawful good fighter with awesome pnching power and equally amazing poetic arsenal at her disposal, the half-sleeping chaotic evil wizard who think Bolt 4-ing someone is a fun hobbie and finally, the phlegmatic chaotic good rogue who thinks stealing is not good, unless if it's a poodle.
The three were ready to embark on their journey to the promised land but what's first is first. Stomachs must be filled, hunger must be satiated. There is no two to this. Hurrah !
With rejunevated bodies, overwhelming energy coming from tended stomachs and pressing time, the three put their traveling boots once more and started their path on the road not taken. It was a long and harsh journey through the elements of nature and wild creatures ready to pounce whenever they looked the other way. Again, they seem to be protected by the blessings of God. Their destination was reached in no time and with no significant difficulty. However, the female protagonist needed her daily dose of medicine after the long walk and hence our heroes were sheltered once more by the goodness of Starbucks the coffee chain.
To cut the story short, our noble characters managed to complete the mission that they've undertaken thanks to their capability to control their necks like no Yoga master has done before.
After the demon has been defeated, the last thing to do is the victory walk back home. But our heroes are no proud snob wanting to be praised endlessly by the commoners. No, ladies and gentlement, they rode home in the dark of the night, blanketed by mist and and the stars to light their way. They parted way quietly in clandestine to the hearthen fire of their quarters. Another mission under their belt. Roll for initiative...
p.s. Thanks for the company, people. You guys know who you are. It was great. Thanks.
