Talking about humility

I just have to write this straight after I saw the news. The news was talking about the Nias earthquake and the help that Singapore gave to help the victims.And the first thing that the reporter said is that, the Singapore rescue team have made immediate impact soon after they arrived.

Oh My God !!! What the hell !!!

Oh sure, people are dying, families lost their loved ones, homes are destroyed and even the survivors are sufering.But the MOST important freaking thing is that the Singapore team has helped them. They are the FUCKING heroes !!! hip hip hurray !!!

They said this even before they reported about the victims themselves.
As if this whole thing is a publicity stunt for Singapore. The saving and giving nation. My ass.

Maybe they think by doing that, they'll feel good about themselves that this country is SO important in this region.

Don't get me wrong, I love this place, but this is just fucking irritating! And it pissed me off like hell !
Sometimes, Singapore must be reminded that they are after all a tiny red dot on the map.

now excuse me while I'm trying to erase a particular country from my map.
