In sadness...

Pope John Paul II has died.
While his tenure was filled with many achievements and at the same time controversies, let us just remember that this is the man who preached for peace, respect, and equality to every one of us. Yes, everyone of us.
While I never really know him, let alone see him in person, whenever he appeared in TV, a great sense of respect and admiration always come about. This is the man who travelled around the world, meeting political and religious leaders, interacting with the people and conducting huge masses while battling Parkinson's and arthritis.
I'm not a really religious person and I do have issues with some of his policies, but without a doubt, this is a man of peace.
He deserves our respects, and prayers.

When you are gone, who will look for us when we go astray ?
