Random Post : Niners, Bridge and 'What Am I To You ?'

Went to Niners birthday dinner yesterday night at Fish n Co Jurong Point. There was nine of us last night : Fusta, Udo, Fanni, Anes, Sharon, Ivan, Michael, Melia, and myself. The food was not fabulous, but decent. I love fish anyway. Too bad the portion is very small.
While it's nice to see friends that I haven't seen for quite some time, the attendance count was quiet dissapointing. I guess the idea of 'Niners' is not very important for some of us.
I went back after dinner with Fanni to watch Bermuda Bowl final which lead us to the second part of the blog.

Bermuda Bowl is the World Cup of bridge (at least, that's what Erick said). Indon was in the final of Seniors Bowl. Too bad they lost to USA. But, a silver is not bad at all. Too bad these bridge players do not seem to get the highlight they deserve back home.
Bermuda Bowl final featured USA versus Italy. Italy was leading by 9 IMPs at the final segment. It was quite exciting. Of course I don't understand any of the bidding or the play. They're far too advanced for me. But I'll be damned if I didn't think it was fun.
