Time Spiral

Time Spiral last Sunday was a bit of a mix. On one hand, it's an incredible set filled with great cards everywhere. On the other hand, I didn't get any of the good cards, as always. The day started with me opening the almost perfect card pool for me. Teferi, shapeshifter, walk of the aeons, teferi's moat, mystic enforcer and about six removals. A card pool that screamed "control!". And of course there's deck swap. Unfortunately, my table got the swapping wrongly, so instead of getting foil Avatar of Woe and Finkel, I got Spike Tiller and Ixidron. Changing from UWb to GB at the last minute perhaps had and effect as well since I can't play agro for my life. And guess who's my first opponent, the national champ, Alvin Tan. The day ended quickly with me going 1-2-1. I'm half-thinking going to release party just to try to even things up.
