Selin, Baybeats and Sex in A Bottle
So after almost meeting her about a month ago, I finally met Selin yesterday for Baybeats. How long has it been, Sel? Two years? It really doesn't feel like it, but I guess it's true. And since apparently the Glutton Square moved from Sommerset to Esplanade, so we had our dinner there with the stupid durian (quoted from her) hiking the price about 100% with a medium Char Kway Teow costing $6. Fortunately, it's quite good. Navigating our conversation from school to relationship, we talked until Electrico started playing. Usually, I don't really like loud music but I guess there's always something special with live concert giving the performance an extra oomph! And I must say, Electrico was quite impressive for a local band. We went for a drink after that waiting for the next performance. Truth be told, that was my first cocktail, Sel. Haha. Yup, I had Sex In A Bottle (no, I didn't order it because of its name) and I really hope sex doesn't taste like that. It tasted like orange soda and I really couldn't taste the alcohol. Sel's Mojito on the other hand. Askar came a little later after I managed to persuade him to ditch his aunt. And it was good when he came bearing good chocolate (and Merriot's gift certificates that we later found out can't be used). Popping a while for The Possies, we went back shortly after with me being extremely tired.
Hope we all can do that movie thing next week, guys.
With the red, the white but not the fucking blue.
