Time Spiral Block Constructed

After thinking of bringing Erick's black white rebel deck to the event, I toyed around the idea of a blink deck (you know, that irritating Momentary Blink). I took the deck list of the net and played around with it for a while. Further modifications were made through play testing with Erick and Denis. I ended up playing white red splash blue Blink deck that's just irritating (my kind of deck) capable of blinking Akroma, Angel of Fury on turn 4 or dealing 20 damage to the head in one and a half turn with Bogardan Hellkite. I really love the deck and although it has big problem against Teferi based deck, the addition of Sacred Mesa, thanks to Denis' suggestion, should smooth things out.

Come the event day, I didn't meet a single Teferi deck and got thrashed by White Weenine (the deck I should be thrashing like hell), Reaniminator (totally unexpected matchup), and Boom/Bust (I only lost to that card, I'm confident that I could handle the rest of the deck). Erick got to top 8 though piloting a red green aggro-control kinda thing that packs all sort of ridiculous green creature and Stormbind (the one thing Teferi couldn't handle). Too bad he lost in the quarter, if not I'd have my Oishii Pizza treat. Damn.

Thinking of going for next week event as well. Maybe.
