Missing the tree for the forest...

hey...let me cut the crap this time n talk 'bout something...not as crappy...
here we go...
last saturday after work, I went to bugis and of course, I inevitably ended up in kino...
comic was no good since everything was wrapped up...wasn't in the mood of reading mags n they even wrap the likes of dilbert n baby blues...idiots...
so I ended up reading this book called cracking the da vinci code...or something like that...
apparently, this book called the da vinci code (which I've heard about but haven't read) was kinda saying things that are rather ot inline with the christian history...
things like Jesus n Mary Magdalene were married n Jesus was preaching other things that wasn't included in the bible...
so basically, it claims that the bible is a historical hoax...
the book I was reading was trying to counter that...
n I was reading the arguments and the counter-arguments and was quite engaged in it...
I ended up finishing the book although I skip few things...
okay, that's what I did firstly...
thenk I went somewhere else...meet some people n ended up in kino again...but this time in taka...
n I saw a book related to the book I read in kino bugis...it's the letter of mary magdalene or something like that...n also this book about the order of templar...supposedly a bunch of christians who kills for job...
so this books I was looking argues mainly about the accuracy of the bible...about Jesus life and His teachings...

all along, I was wondering...why should we care who's right ?
does it matter so much whether Jesus is really divine or constatinus made Him divine...?
is it really important whether the bible is historically correct...?
I personally don't think so...(this might sound blasphemous and all...but I don't mean it that way...I believe in God and Jesus and all)
so what if the da vinci code is correct ?
the important thing for me is we know that the teaching of Jesus is good...
To love your God with all your mind, heart and soul...
To love your fellow human being as you love yourself...
so what if Jesus married Mary Magdalene and have a family...
does that make his teachings wrong ? I certainly don't think so...
it's like we're forgetting the important thing for the trivial stuffs...
if people claims that in other bibles, Jesus taught different things...I think we can wisely choose which one to take and which to dispel...
it's a matter of self...it's between you and God...
the essence of it still there...they only change the decoration...so why bother arguing so much about it ?
they can believe what they want and we can believe what we want...right ?
it's the hollier-than-thou attitude that makes this a long argument...

about the order of templar...
it's a bad decision to make them in the first place...bad desicion...
killing people shouldn't be condone in any condition...moreover by the catholic church...
people make mistakes...the church makes mistake...
it's not an excuse but yeah, we all sin...unfortunately, it includes people in the church...
sad..but true...

so let me end this with this metaphor...or at least I think it is...
don't quit magic just because a guy uses 5 arcane denials in his deck and certainly don't quit because there's pokemon...okay maybe not pokemon, yu gi oh then...nah that doesn't work either...but you get the message...
