A Wild Sheep Chase...

I'm falling in love...
with Haruki Murakami.
That's not some japanese girl name mind you. He is an author.
I'm very impressed with his books. Well, I've read only two of his books but it's enough to make me one of his fan.
There's this sense of surrealism and out-of-worldliness about his works. Sometimes it tells about absurd things but he managed to write it in such a way that you believe in it and think of it just like any other daily occurences.
There's a hint of similarities between his works and Jostein Gaarder (Sophie's World, The Solitaire Mystery, The Christmas Mystery, etc.) in the sense of surrealism. But Jostein's work is sometimes so bewildering and confusing that it makes you simply go insane.
Murakami's works, on the other hand, are simply beautiful. That kind of serene, wonderful surrealism.
Highly reccomended.

p.s. credit to the translator as well.
