Saki

Okay, hands up for those of you who knows who's this Saki guy is ?
I know he's an author but when I first heard of his name I thought of some Japanese author. Another Murakami perhaps ?
I was so wrong. So so wrong.
He's an English writer by the name of Hector Hugh Munro (1870-1916). His writings are mostly about Edwardian society.
Man, his satires and ironies are really top class. Some are too hard for me to understand but the ones that I could get are really good. He wrote about trivial and sometimes absurd subjects but there are really something underneath all that.
No worries if you think it will be boring and all because he's mostly famous for his short stories.
Do try to read Saki if you're interested in some sarcasm and irony :p

p.s. Thanks for asking me to read him
