Could you be my friend ?

today is Good Friday...you know...the day jesus died...
I went to church today...somehow I like going to church...give me a kind of peace...
it's funny considering I'm not a religious person...I have a lousy relationship with the One up there...
maybe it's because I don't really like accepting God as the superpower being...
most people perceived God as the omnipotent being...the controller of everything...
able to do anyting at anytime anywhere to anyone...
don't you think it's kinda scary ? at least I think so...
I agree that He is what I just said above...but I beg to differ...
I want to take Him as a friend...
a friend that I can talk to about my problems and those private things...
I never mean to lower my respect to Him...believe me...I respect Him...
but I want to control my own life...although I know He is always watching over me...(at least I think so)...
ha..ha..I don't think you'll get what I'm trying to say...but yeah...that's just me...
