Think before you speak
I never consider myself a quiet person...
I would love to be one...but I don't seem to be able to keep quiet when I am among my friends...
sure...sometimes, I keep to myself and hardly talk but not often...
only when I am too engrossed in something I like...
however, most of the time I think of what I am going to say...
phrasing and rephrasing my words in a such a way that whatever I am going to say is politically correct...
call me a paranoid or a freak but I don't want anyone to rebuke whatever I said...
have you ever seen any cop movie ? or any movie with cops in it ?
then you'll remember that the first thing the cop says if he/she caught someone is...
"anything you say can be used against you"...
ah...now you kinda see my point right ?
if you don't want something you said to be used against you there are two ways...
one...you don't say anything at all...
the ultimate solution...
unfortunately...only a rare few can do this...very rare few...
second...you think before you talk...
think on the consequences of what you are going to say...
any loophole, false fact, etc...
then you'll minimise the chance of anyone using what you said against you...
sadly...there is a drawback...
it kills spontaneity...it kills the fun...
everything will be damn boring...
so...you choose...spontaneity or safety ?
think hard...
