Batch Meeting (Sorta): Holland V's Settlers++

Today (or yesterday, rather) was a fun day. I woke up around nine and played AOE III until around 10+ until I gave up halfway on one of the mission. I wanted to start working on the hongchoo website but I couldn't access it from the internet or from my ftp. I called the boss to tell him about it and since I had not touch it since the night before (and it was fine the night before), I'm sure that it's not my fault. At first he wanted me to come down but in the end he said he'll try to fix it himself (which is good since I want my weekend to be work free for once).

So I went to Centrepoint around 1 to meet with the people I'll work with for the World Cup final thingy. In the end, only three of us (Jonas, Eric and me) came so we just discussed what we could. We finished around two but since we all got nothing to do we just continue talking about soccer until three. We went off after that with me going to orchard library. After borrowing some comics and books, I rushed to Holland V for the batch meeting.

Askar wanted to go to Sentosa initially but he decided on Holland V instead. I think it's because the attendance level was low (like always). Settler's Cafe was damn fun! In the end there were ten of us: Askar, Anes and Enry (her boyfriend), Halim, Melia, Ivan, Udo, two juniors from batch 14 (Dinda and Tika) and me. I know, I know, it didn't look like a batch meeting at all with only seven of us there, but if it's fun, what the heck. We ended playing Cranium with four teams. I teamed up with Ivan and Halim and we won in the end. We also played Taboo after that. Three hours really passed by quickly.

We wanted to go somewhere to watch soccer after that but couldn't find any place at first so the NTU people and juniors went back. Melia, Ivan, Askar and me found ourselves at Holland V food court centre watching England - Paraguay drinking Tiger (and I still don't like beer). We ended talking to each other more since the match was rather boring. It was fun meeting and talking to them since it's not very often of me to meet them. Somehow we ended up talking a lot about jobs, future families, and relationship. At that point I realised that we are 22-years old (pretty slow of me, huh?). We are adults for goodness sake. It's mindblowing. I never really imagined myself being an adult hanging out with my friends and talking about future jobs and families while drinking beer. Maybe it's just me trying to stay being a kid but it was really a shock for me at first. And then I also realised that these people are the people who are with me while I'm going through this process of growing up. These people (and a few others) are my friends and for that, I'll cherish them.

On another note, I finally forgave someone who, in my opinion, wronged me in the past. All this while, I thought I've already forgiven him but I guess I was mistaken. I haven't. When I first saw him after a few years, I cursed inside but thinking that I will be stuck with him for a while I might as well try to start again. And judging by how much fun we had, I think I've succeeded. So from now on, let it be known that I no longer have animosity towards this person.
